We will protect the friendship between France and Kurdistan
The French government strongly condemned the terror against the Ahmet Kaya Cultural Center, and expressed its condolences to the Kurdish community in France. In the days after the attack, France at the highest level, President Emmanuel Macron and the mayor of of the 10th arrondissement, Alexandra Cordebard expressed their condolences. Ministry of Interior and Justice promised that they will try to make the research on the causes and motives of the terrorist attack to the public. In many official institutions, the Kurdistan flag was raised next to the French flag, and the anti-Kurdish terror was announced as a day of mourning in France.
In the most difficult days of the Kurds, France, as a state at the international level, stood by the people of Kurdistan, and provided valuable assistance to the Kurdistan. The political and humanitarian aid of France after the massacre of Halabja, Anfal, 1991 uprising, from UN resolution 688 to the revolution of Rojava Kurdistan will never be forgotten. Thanks to these aids, thousands of Kurds were saved from the oppression of the occupying states.
In the defense of the status of South Kurdistan, France has put its weight as a state in the international arena for the benefit of the status of South Kurdistan, especially in the siege after the referendum on the independence of Kurdistan. The position is still stands.
France has also played a very important role in the Rojava revolution, forming an alliance with the Kurds against Daesh jihadists. Rojava Kurdistan defeated Daesh with the help of France and other allied countries.
The occupying state of Turkey has repeatedly put pressure on the French government to break the alliance with the Kurds, but it has not succeded.
France as a state is our strategic friend. We will never forget their help for the people of Kurdistan. We attach great importance to this friendship as long as it continues, becomes stronger, and becomes an example for the international community. All Kurds living in France need to respect the laws and regulations of France. As Diakurd, we see anarchistic actions against the French state pointless.
Diaspora Kurds should take a stand on this issue and not allow hostile individuals to break the friendship between the Kurds and the French state.
